Crime Stoppers International is a global not-for-profit that supports law enforcement efforts to prevent and solve crime.

We provide a platform for people to report crime anonymously to our law enforcement partners.

We also work with our public and private partners to increase education about the consequences of crime and run projects to help identify and reduce crime worldwide.

Many people are scared to talk directly with law enforcement, worried about testifying as a witness, or concerned about corruption and the potential risk to their safety. That’s why people around the world trust Crime Stoppers protect their anonymity while reporting suspected criminal activity to law enforcement.

Representing more than 800 affiliated Crime Stoppers programs, Crime Stoppers International is a network of dedicated professionals who empower global communities and individual citizens to share information about crime with a guarantee of anonymity - leading to safer, more sustainable societies.

Recent work

February 2024

Committed to mitigating harm against vulnerable persons and minors online, Crime Stoppers International (CSI) has committed to working with Ethical Capital Partners (ECP), the proprietors of adult content platforms provider Aylo, to form an unconventional but highly impactful collaboration.

Following in the footsteps of the Internet Watch Foundation and it’s groundbreaking partnering with Mindgeek (now Aylo), CSI’s strategic relationship seeks to reduce harm and combat online crime, beginning with a thorough review of AYLO's trust and safety processes to evaluate their effectiveness and identify additional measures to further minimize harm online.

Our collaboration also has the capacity to adapt technology, originally intended for the adult entertainment industry, to identify and eradicate harmful and illicit content online. This has the potential to bolster law enforcement initiatives worldwide against transnational crime, not only in the fight against child sexual abuse material and online exploitation, but also terrorism, smuggling, cybercrime, and human trafficking.

CSI recognizes the production of online content within the adult entertainment industry is inevitable, and chooses collaboration over exclusion.

The CSI Board was unanimous in working with Aylo and ECP, and about embracing the opportunity to drive positive change to reduce online harm, achieve greater protection for children and minors, and enhance law enforcement capability in this space.

This effort unites CSI, Aylo and ECP, in a shared goal to enhance cooperation and collaboration between the online adult industry, civil society and law enforcement in combatting online harms and exploitation.

The details of the working relationship will be announced as the projects are introduced. Projects will be guided by shared values, resources and a profound commitment to collaborating with law enforcement, non-profit and other organizations who share the goals of reducing harm and exploitation on the internet as a whole.

July 2023

Over the last three months, we’ve been focused on delivering a seminar in the Philippines outlining the risks of global illegal trade (did you know that if all illegal trade is put together and compared to a country, it would be the 4th largest economy in the world?!) and how the finances involved often fund terrorism, organised crime and similar. We will continue to build awareness of this through seminars and our upcoming podcasts (stay tuned for more details!).

We are very pleased to announce an expansion of the content available on CSI Learning to include some quick reference guides on our Human Trafficking Awareness course! Go to https://csilearning.thinkific.com/courses/human-trafficking-awareness to see our three easy-to-follow and downloadable guides, including useful links, a checklist of potential indicators of human trafficking and a summary fact sheet. A big thank you to Crime Stoppers Australia for supporting this initiative!

Welcome to our new website! We are proud to have worked with London Advertising (londonadvertising.com) to update our web presence and make our information more accessible. You’ll see we have also updated our webpage from csiworld.org to crimestoppersinternational.org. While a bit longer, we want people to know who we are and what we do and we feel like our new site helps with that.

In February 2023, we also launched our new reporting platform (crimestoppersinternational.org/report-now) to give global citizens an easier way to share information with our national Crime Stoppers programs or, if it relates to transnational crime or a location without a national program, to Crime Stoppers International.

Behind our reporting platform is also a new tip management system. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to NQRY (nqry.com.au) for their assistance in providing us with their CaseWalls system to better triage and manage reports of potential criminal activity.
