In recognition of outstanding performance and commitment, personifying a spirit of community cooperation and demonstrating qualities of leadership on a local, national and international level.

Entries are encouraged that identify individuals who have made a profound contribution to Crime Stoppers at the local, national and international level; who have had an association with Crime Stoppers for at least three (3) years, including during the 2016 calendar year; and who have demonstrated drive, enthusiasm and devotion to the Crime Stoppers vision.

The nominee may still be actively contributing or may no longer be able to contribute (eg has passed away), so the entry must detail the nominee’s current status – whether they continue to be involved in Crime Stoppers and, if not, why not.

NOTE
The nominee cannot have been a recipient of this Award within the last three years.

Paul D Boudreau, Program Coordinator of the Year

In recognition of outstanding performance and commitment, personifying a spirit of community cooperation and demonstrating qualities of leadership.

Entries are encouraged that identify coordinators (civilian or law enforcement) who have displayed an outstanding commitment to a Crime Stoppers program, encompassing the ability to work with law enforcement, media and civilian participants in relation to Crime Stoppers, and who have also demonstrated necessary leadership qualities such as dedication, initiative, responsibility, reliability, persistence and integrity.

NOTE

  1. The event(s) for which the nominee is nominated must have occurred in the 2016 calendar year
  2. The nominee must have been serving as the coordinator of a Crime Stoppers program at the time
  3. The nominee cannot be a voting Member/Director of the relevant program’s Board of Directors; and
  4. The nominee cannot have been a recipient of this Award within the last three years.

Civilian of the Year

In recognition of selfless devotion, persistent service and significant contribution to a member Crime Stoppers program.

Entries are encouraged that identify civilians currently serving on the Board of Directors of a Crime Stoppers program, who were an active member of that Board during the 2016 calendar year and who have demonstrated leadership, organisational ability and any other qualities considered relevant.

NOTE
The nominee cannot have been a recipient of this Award within the last three years.

Young Achievers of the Year

In recognition of selfless devotion, persistent service and significant contribution to a member Crime Stoppers program by a young person.

Entries are encouraged that identify young people (under 15 years of age; and between 15 and 21 years of age) currently working with a Crime Stoppers program who have demonstrated a hands-on practical approach, leadership, organisational ability, motivation of their peer group, and any other qualities considered relevant.

The nominee must have actively contributed to a Crime Stoppers program during the 2016 calendar year and cannot have been a recipient of this Award within the last three years.
