Crime Stoppers International maintains strategic partnerships with key global organizations such as the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). A cooperation agreement was signed with INTERPOL in 2010, and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the UNODC in 2016.

Formal partnerships have also been established with other global NGO’s such as the International Police Training Institute and Airline Ambassadors International through MoU’s which were signed in 2015.

Crime Stoppers International, through its affiliated programmes in Australia, Canada, South Africa and the Netherlands, maintains strategic relationships with the Australia Federal Police (AFP), the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Royal Nederlands Marechaussee.

Crime Stoppers International also maintains a formal collaboration agreement with the CNN Freedom Project which was signed in 2015.

    In November 2016, Crime Stoppers joined forces with the tobacco industry in El Salvador to launch an anti-illicit trade campaign called “Denuncie Hoy”. The campaign involved training of law enforcement personnel, the creation of specialised teams, and consumer awareness via traditional and digital media
