Operation INFRA

Crime Stoppers International (CSI) in conjunction with its affiliated Crime Stoppers programs, supports INTERPOL in a global fugitive hunt, called Operation INFRA. (International Fugitive Round Up and Arrest).

This INTERPOL lead initiative is intended to apprehend fugitives that are sought both domestically and by other countries.
First conducted in 2010, Operation INFRA targeted fugitives who were thought to be located in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Jamaica, United Kingdom and the United States. The initiative saw CSI team up with INTERPOL, U.S. Marshals Service, the UK’s Serius and Organized Crime Agency (SOCA) to fully exploit the latest available intelligence to locate, arrest and secure the possible extradition of internationally wanted criminals against whom there were INTERPOL Red Notices.

Out of 477 cases selected for INFRA, 45 fugitives were positively located, 8 of whom were arrested.

Since December 16th 2013, Crime Stoppers programmes in the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada and the Americas, in collaboration with local and regional media, embarked on an intense effort to assist INTERPOL in tracking down highly sought after criminals who are believed to be resident in the Caribbean and the Americas.

Photographs and details of the persons of interest can be viewed at www.interpol.int. Anyone with information on these fugitives, can Click Here to provide information directly to Crime Stoppers or alternatively can provide information directly via the INTERPOL website at www.interpol.int
